Can I connect my bank account to ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Redflake is a hosted MCP server for your bank. Connect a bank once, then add your Redflake URL as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client. Your AI can then read balances, transactions and spending summaries from your real accounts.
What is an MCP server for banking?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to call external tools. Redflake exposes read-only banking tools over MCP: list accounts, get balances, get transactions, spending and income summaries and recurring payments. Any MCP client can use them after you log in and approve the scopes.
Which AI tools work with Redflake?
Anything that speaks MCP: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity and others. If you would rather not set anything up, the Pro plan includes the Redflake Agent, a finance-only chat on your own data, plus scheduled automations like weekly reports and balance alerts.
Which banks are supported?
Most Dutch and other European banks that offer PSD2 access, including ING, Rabobank, ABN AMRO, bunq, Knab, SNS, ASN, Triodos and Revolut. Personal and business accounts both work. Access goes through a licensed PSD2 account information provider; Redflake never sees your bank login.
Is it safe? Can the AI move money?
No. Access is read-only by design: Redflake holds no payment licence and there is no tool that moves money. Consent lives at your bank, expires after 180 days unless you renew it, and you can revoke it or delete your account at any time. Data is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt), IBANs are masked by default, you choose per account what is exposed, and every tool call is logged.
Does the AI provider see my transactions?
When you ask Claude or ChatGPT a question, the answers to its tool calls are processed by that provider under its own terms, like anything else you paste into it. Limit what is exposed with per-account toggles, or use the Redflake Agent, which keeps the conversation inside Redflake.
What does Redflake cost?
Starter is €7 per month for one bank account. Standard is €20 per month for five accounts across any number of banks, plus household sharing. Pro is €30 per month for twelve accounts, the Redflake Agent and automations. Standard and Pro start with a 14-day free trial. Cancel any time.
